Shop Department Manager / Senior Cashier

Flower Power is Australia's largest retail Garden Centre & Lifestyle group with 11 retail stores across Sydney and Newcastle regions. We grow, import & sell a diverse range of products such as plant-life, landscape materials, outdoor furniture, home-wares and gift-wares at our Centres.

As our team continues to grow, we’re looking for a passionate Shop Department Manager / Senior Cashier to step into a full‑time role at our established Garden Centre in Terrey Hills. This is your chance to step into a leadership role where your impact will be seen and valued every day.

Reporting to the Store Manager, you will take the lead in guiding a dedicated team of cashiers, sales staff and other team members - to create a positive environment where great customer experiences come naturally.

About you:
You will have a solid background in retail management and a genuine passion for leading teams. Customer service excellence is second nature to you, and you know how to motivate, coach, and inspire a team to achieve outstanding results. Your ability to manage stakeholder relationships alongside your reliable nature will be the key to your success.

About the role:
This is a full-time position, typically including one weekend day and a small number of public holidays throughout the year. This is an active hands-on role - perfect for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys being part of a friendly and supportive team.
