Our client requires self-motivated Mechanical Fitters for their team immediately.

Our client is a leader in providing trade services and specialist machine overhauls in the mining, construction, electrical manufacturing, and engineering industries.
Based in the beautiful Mackay Region, they are an equal opportunity company with a strong established and successful mining service-related business.
This is a fantastic opportunity to become a valuable part of our permanent full-time mine site team and truly put your mechanical skills to use.
You'll be a key player in the fault finding, repair, assembly, and rebuilding of mining equipment including hydraulics and earth moving components. You'll also be responsible for ongoing preventative maintenance, inspections and reporting.
You have a demonstrated commitment to workplace safety and the ability to work independently as well as within a team. Your verbal and written communication skills are strong, and you can read and understand engineering drawings.
You're willing to travel at short notice and stay overnight when required. You're prepared to work in confined spaces and at heights, and are physically fit enough to work within a plant environment, including climbing access stairs with tools and equipment.
Previous experience writing reports will be advantageous.
