EARLY CHILDHOOD TEACHER (ECT)

Leaping Learners are seeking a Qualified Early Childhood Teacher who is dedicated, passionate and enthusiastic to join our team in Picton 2571 & Leumeah 2560. We are committed to prioritising the safety and protection of children.

This is a Fulltime on the floor position for 5 days per week.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ROLE

·        Bachelor in Early Childhood Education and Care or ACECQA assessed equivalent or Diploma that is actively studying towards a Bachelor Degree (Graduate Diploma's before Jan 2026 only)

·        An understanding of child-safe practices

·        Mandatory Child Safety Training completed

·        Current First Aid

·        A valid Working with Children's Check/ NESA registration

·        Child Protection and Child Safety training

·        Sound knowledge of EYLF, NQS, National Law & Regulations.

·        A minimum of 2x professional references

·        Own transport

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL NEED TO DEMONSTRATE THE FOLLOWING:

·        Excellent programming skills

·        Thorough understanding of EYLF, NQF and NQS

·        Ability to mentor and guide educator practices in your room

·        Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

·        Effective time management skills

·        Strong leadership skills
