Warehouse/Storeperson

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Warehouse/Storeperson to join the team at Double 'D' Products Australia in Glendenning, NSW. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in maintaining the efficient operation of our warehouse and distribution centre. You will be responsible for receiving, storing, organising and dispatching products whilst ensuring accuracy, safety and compliance with all warehouse procedures. This role is essential to our supply chain operations and directly impacts our ability to serve our customers effectively.

What you'll be doing

• Receiving and inspecting incoming goods, verifying quantities and quality against delivery documentation

• Accurately recording inventory data into the warehouse management system

• Organising and storing products in designated locations using proper storage techniques

• Picking, packing and preparing orders for dispatch in accordance with customer requirements

• Conducting regular stock takes and cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy

• Operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks and hand trucks safely and efficiently

• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe warehouse environment in compliance with health and safety regulations

• Loading and unloading delivery vehicles as required

• Assisting with warehouse relocations and reorganisation projects

• Reporting discrepancies, damaged goods and equipment issues to management promptly

What we're looking for

• Proven experience working in a warehouse, distribution centre or similar logistics environment

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy, particularly when handling inventory and documentation

• Physical fitness and ability to perform manual handling duties, including lifting heavy items regularly

• Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification

• Familiarity with warehouse management systems and basic computer skills

• Excellent organisational and time management abilities

• A commitment to health and safety practices and compliance with all warehouse procedures

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Reliability and punctuality

• Good communication skills and a positive attitude
