Chef De Partie - Contract Role, Immediate Start!

We’re looking for experienced Chef de Partie to join our kitchen on a fixed-term contract through to 11 December 2026. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who thrives in a professional, fast-paced kitchen and values consistency, teamwork, and high standards. The premium rate reflects our commitment to reliable chefs who can see the contract through.

📅 Contract: Immediate start – until Friday 11 December 2026 (option for an additional week to be confirmed later)
💰 Pay: $50/hour (10am or 11am starts); $52/hour (3am or 4am starts)
⏰ Hours: 38 hours per week (Consistent shifts)
📍 Location: Artarmon – street parking & public transport available

What You’ll Do

• Support the Sous/Head Chef during service, maintaining high standards of quality, pace, and consistency

• Manage mise en place, prep, and presentation to consistent standards

• Maintain kitchen hygiene, organisation and stock control

• Coach and support junior team members

• Uphold food safety and OH&S requirements

• Contribute to menu development, specials, and seasonal changes

What You Bring

• Proven experience as a Chef de Partie (or strong Demi Chef ready to step up)

• Broad skills across multiple kitchen stations

• Calm, organised, and consistent under pressure

• Excellent communication and teamwork

• Current food safety certification

• Commitment to the FULL CONTRACT period
