WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR? 

Enaex Australia is seeking experienced and safety-focused MPU Operators to join our team at Hope Downs, WA.

Reporting to the Site Supervisor, this role is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of Mobile Processing Units associated with the manufacture and delivery of bulk explosives within an open-cut mining environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate Mobile Processing Units safely and efficiently to manufacture and deliver bulk explosives.
• Conduct pre-start inspections, equipment checks, and quality control activities to ensure operational compliance.
• Load blastholes accurately in accordance with blast designs, load sheets, and site procedures.
• Maintain accurate production, loading, and compliance records.
• Identify, report, and assist in mitigating safety, environmental, and operational risks.
• Build positive working relationships with Shotfirers, site teams, and customers to support safe blasting outcomes.

Ideally you will have;

• Experience operating Mobile Processing Units within mining or blasting environments.
• Current RIIBLA201A Support Shotfirer Operations qualification.
• Current RIIBLA203A Conduct Mobile Mixing of Explosives qualification.
• Dangerous Goods Licence (or equivalent) and a current manual driver's licence.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
• Commitment to safety, compliance, and Enaex's Zero Harm philosophy.
