Bayside Health was formed following the merger of Alfred Health, Bass Coast Health, Gippsland Southern Health Service, Kooweerup Regional Health Service and Peninsula Health on 1 January 2026.
Bayside Health is a public health service delivering high-quality care across every stage of life for close to 1.2 million people living in metropolitan Melbourne, the Mornington Peninsula, Koo Wee Rup, Bass Coast and Southern Gippsland.
We have more than 15 main sites, including hospitals, centres and clinics that provide comprehensive care from welcoming newborns to supporting older people and a full range of services in between.

The Team & Role
The Post Graduate Nursing Program (Mental Health) is a supported contracted position that enables the staff member to gain additional mental health nursing skills and expertise whilst continuing to undertake post graduate studies. The post graduate program offers the staff member to experience a range of rotation options in the inpatient/bed based services or a bespoke program within the community teams. The program offers further support from the education team, a range of specialist study days and paid study leave to dedicate towards completion of post graduate studies.
Start now and achieve your qualification by the end of next year.Graduate Nurses and Nurses undertaking Post Graduate studies who have successfully completed their program/course will be offered ongoing employment at the end of their fixed-term contract where an appropriately classified vacancy exists
