The Role

The Strategic Partnerships Manager is a newly created role within the SEEK Pass Growth function, responsible for identifying, shaping and scaling high-impact commercial growth opportunities across strategic partnerships, business development and cross functional growth initiatives. Reporting to the Senior Growth Manager (Ecosystem), this role will focus on building a high-quality pipeline of ecosystem opportunities, progressing priority partnerships and helping turn SEEK Pass’s growth strategy into clear actions, strong execution and measurable business impact.

This role will work closely with external partners and internal stakeholders across Growth, SEEK Pass squads and broader SEEK teams to ensure growth efforts are focused on the highest-value opportunities and delivered effectively. As the first role of its kind in the team, it requires a commercially astute, strategically strong and highly effective operator who can move between business and partnership development, go-to-market thinking and hands-on delivery, while helping build more repeatable and scalable approaches to ecosystem growth over time.

The Team

This role sits within the SEEK Pass Growth function, which is responsible for marketing & enablement, country partnerships, government and vendor engagement, ecosystem integrations, compliance and accreditation. Reporting to the Senior Growth Manager, this role sits within the SEEK Pass Ecosystem Growth team, comprising of ecosystem growth and integration management. The role will also work closely with a diverse set of stakeholders, including SEEK Pass squads and team members across growth, product, operations, and engineering, as well as SEEK sales, partnerships, product, go-to-market teams and external partners.

Job Description

• Identify, prioritise and develop high-impact ecosystem growth opportunities across strategic partnerships, business development, partner channels, propositions and routes to market.
• Build and manage a high-quality pipeline of prospective ecosystem partners, from early opportunity assessment and commercial shaping through to negotiation, onboarding, launch and ongoing performance management.
• Develop and execute partnership strategies for priority opportunities, including clear business cases, proposals and plans that align partner value, customer impact and commercial return.
• Lead senior partner conversations across discovery, qualification, commercial negotiation, launch planning and growth planning, and act as a trusted point of contact for shared outcomes.
• Work closely with SEEK Pass squads and internal stakeholders across Product, Engineering, Operations, Marketing, Sales and other SEEK teams to translate ecosystem opportunities into practical delivery plans and measurable business impact.
• Develop clear partner propositions, narratives and playbooks that articulate the value of integrating with SEEK Pass and support both internal teams and external partners to engage effectively.
• Shape go-to-market approaches for new partnerships, launches and partner-led growth initiatives, working closely with Marketing and Enablement to drive awareness, activation and usage through ecosystem channels.
• Use quantitative and qualitative insight to identify barriers, growth opportunities and segment-specific strategies, and to inform prioritisation, recommendations and next steps.
• Drive accountability for growth outcomes through clear prioritisation, reporting and operating rhythms, with visibility of pipeline health, partnership performance, adoption, revenue contribution, risks and recommended actions.
• Monitor the performance and effectiveness of ecosystem partnerships over time, and identify interventions that improve adoption, growth, partner value and commercial impact.
• Build repeatable frameworks, playbooks and ways of working for partner development, growth execution and cross functional delivery that improve consistency and scalability as ecosystem activity grows.
• Contribute to the development of the broader ecosystem growth operating model, including systems, standards and feedback loops that help SEEK Pass scale partnerships more effectively over time.

Qualifications

• Experience in growth, partnerships, business development, go-to-market or strategic commercial roles
• Demonstrated ability to originate and convert complex B2B opportunities
• Strong commercial acumen, negotiation capability and strategic judgement
• Ability to shape strategy and convert it into practical execution across teams
• Strong relationship management with senior internal and external stakeholders
• Experience defining opportunities, sizing impact and leading execution in ambiguous environments
• Excellent communication, prioritisation and influencing skills
• Bias for action and accountability for outcomes

Desirable but not required

• Experience scaling up partnership, integrations, sales or operations teams
• Domain knowledge in identity, verification, credentialling or related areas
• Domain knowledge in online marketplaces and digital platforms
• Experience in early-stage start-ups and scale-ups
• Experience in platform, ecosystem, marketplace or channel partnerships
• Exposure to pricing, packaging, proposition design or revenue optimisation
• Experience in digital product, marketplace or B2B growth environments
• Familiarity with lifecycle growth, funnel optimisation, GTM design or strategic alliances
