About the Role

As a Journalist, you will play an important role in producing high-quality editorial content across our print and digital platforms.

In line with Prime Creative Media’s purpose of growing individuals, organisations and industries, we take a constructive approach to industry journalism. You will identify and tell stories that highlight progress, achievement and meaningful developments across the industries we cover, while maintaining the highest standards of accuracy, credibility and editorial integrity.

This is a hands-on role where you’ll research, write and edit high-quality news and feature content across our print and digital platforms. You’ll build strong industry relationships, conduct interviews, identify engaging and newsworthy stories, and contribute to the continued growth and relevance of our publications.

In this role, you will:

• Research, write and edit news and feature articles for print and digital channels.
• Maintain a strong pipeline of story ideas and industry contacts.
• Conduct interviews with industry professionals, clients and subject-matter experts.
• Monitor industry trends and identify newsworthy developments.
• Contribute content for websites, newsletters and social media.
• Ensure editorial content is accurate, engaging and delivered on schedule.
• Attend and report on industry events, conferences and trade shows.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across the industries you cover.
• Collaborate with editorial, design, production and sales teams to support the growth and quality of our publications.

About You

You are a journalist with strong writing skills, the ability to produce a high volume of quality content and the confidence to build relationships with a broad range of industry stakeholders.

You will ideally have:

• Demonstrated experience producing high-quality news and feature content.
• Strong writing, editing and proofreading skills.
• The ability to manage a high volume of work and competing deadlines.

• Confidence interviewing clients, industry leaders and subject-matter experts.
• A degree in Journalism, Media, Communications or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
