Mental Illness Education ACT
About the role
Mental Illness Education ACT (MIEACT) is a Canberra-based, nationally accredited not-for-profit organisation with more than 30 years' experience delivering evidence-informed mental health promotion and prevention programs. Through lived experience-led education, professional learning and community engagement, we work with children, young people, educators, workplaces and communities to improve mental health literacy, reduce stigma, strengthen help-seeking and support safer, more inclusive environments. MIEACT is a trusted partner of schools, community organisations and government, with a strong commitment to quality, innovation and measurable outcomes. Learn more by visiting www.mieact.org.au.

Successful candidates will be elected at the MIEACT Annual General Meeting on 18 November 2026 in Canberra.
We strongly encourage applications from people with lived experience of mental health challenges, carers, family members and individuals from diverse backgrounds and communities.
