Summary:

Ox Engineering is seeking a skilled Sheetmetal Operator to join our manufacturing team in Canning Vale. This permanent, full-time position requires a skilled individual who can operate and maintain sheet metal machinery, ensuring high-quality production standards. The operator will contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of our operations, supporting our commitment to delivering exceptional products to our clients.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain sheet metal machinery, including CNC press brakes, guillotines, CNC Plasma/Laser cutter to precise specifications.
• Interpret technical drawings and specifications to produce accurate sheet metal components.
• Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Collaborate with team members to optimise production processes and reduce waste.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a sheet metal operator or in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
• Strong understanding of sheet metal fabrication processes and machinery.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
• Relevant vocational qualification or certification in metal fabrication or a related field is preferred.
• Forklift Licence
