Production Storeperson

About the Role

JBS Townsville are currently recruiting a reliable and organised Production Storeperson to join the team in a full-time role. Reporting to the Assistant Plant Manager, you will be responsible for managing production related inventory, maintaining accurate stock control and supporting the smooth operation of our warehouse. Your work will help ensure the timely delivery of materials to operational areas and contribute to overall site efficiency.

In this role, you will receive, inspect and record all incoming goods while maintaining accurate inventory records and conducting regular stocktakes. You will safely and efficiently organise and store materials, prepare and pack orders for dispatch in line with schedules, and coordinate with carriers and logistics providers to ensure deliveries are completed on time. You will also be responsible for completing required documentation, ensuring compliance with transport regulations, following workplace health and safety standards and handling and storing hazardous materials appropriately.

• Full-time position; 38 hours per week

• Monday to Friday

• 6am start time

About You

• High attention to detail and accuracy

• Competent using inventory management systems and Microsoft Office

• Strong organisational and time management skills

• Good communication skills and a team-focused approach

• Problem-solving ability and adaptability in a fast-paced environment

• Physical fitness for manual handling tasks

• Forklift License highly regarded

Located 12km south of Townsville, a major gateway to Queensland’s world-renowned Great Barrier Reef, the JBS Townsville Plant is JBS Australia’s most northern operation. Cattle are sourced from a wide supply area, including the Northern Territory, north and north-western Queensland and packed into the AMH brand, the most trusted name in beef. The plant employs approximately 500 team members with a processing capacity of 900 head of cattle per day.
