Buyers Administration Assistant

Are you highly organised, detail-oriented and passionate about fashion? We're looking for a Buyers Administration Assistant to join our Sydney Head Office and support the Buying team behind the iconic GUESS brand.

Working alongside experienced Buyers, you'll play a key role in supporting the buying process from market through to product launch. From managing product information and coordinating samples to preparing reports and maintaining buying systems, you'll help bring each GUESS collection to life.

With a strong presence across retail, wholesale and ecommerce, we are passionate about delivering globally recognised fashion to our customers. Our Buying team plays a vital role in curating each seasonal collection, ensuring the GUESS brand continues to inspire and perform in our local market.

Reporting to a Buyer or Senior Buyer, you'll provide administrative and operational support across the full buying cycle. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role where no two days are the same.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting Buyers with day-to-day administration and seasonal buying activities.

• Preparing weekly and monthly sales and trading reports.

• Maintaining buy plans, product information and delivery schedules.

• Entering and maintaining accurate data across internal systems.

• Coordinating buying samples for meetings, marketing and photoshoots.

• Assisting with seasonal range preparation before, during and after market.

• Liaising with internal teams including Planning, Marketing, Retail, Logistics, Wholesale and Ecommerce.

• Conducting competitor research and assisting with product performance analysis.

• Maintaining organised seasonal files, product information and sample libraries.

• Assisting with purchase order administration and product setup.

We're looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment and enjoys working with both data and product.

You'll ideally have:

• Previous administration experience, preferably within fashion, retail or wholesale.

• Excellent organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail.

• Strong Microsoft Excel skills and confidence working with data.

• Outstanding communication and time management skills.

• The ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.

• A proactive attitude and willingness to learn.

• A genuine passion for fashion and retail.

• Previous Buying Administration or Merchandise Administration experience.

• Experience using Style Arcade, NetSuite or similar retail systems.

• Qualification in Fashion, Business, Merchandise or a related field.
