We are a wholesale bakery based at Coolum Beach, supplying high-quality pastries and croissants across the region. We're growing, and we need an experienced pair of hands who genuinely knows how to work laminated dough.
  
About the Role
We're looking for a skilled and passionate Pastry Chef to join our production team, focusing on croissants and laminated pastry.
  
Key responsibilities:

• Produce high-quality pastries and croissants as part of our daily production run
• Work efficiently and consistently to meet daily production targets
• Maintain quality and consistency across every batch

  
About You
Croissant production has a lot of variables, and it takes real experience to get it right. To succeed in this role, you'll need:

• Genuine, hands-on experience in croissant dough and laminated pastry production
• A strong pastry background
• Speed, consistency, and a real feel for the dough
• The ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced production environment
• Experience in pastry chefing is essential – this is not an entry-level role.

  
Hours

• Monday to Friday
• 6:00am start
• Casual or full-time available – Min 4 hours per day.  

  
Pay rates)

• Rates will vary depending on experience and committed hours $27.44 - $33.85 per hour
• Potential free accommodation from now until the 2nd of October in beachside apartment with pool
