Service Technician — Robotic Mowers & Outdoor Power Equipment.

About the role

You'll work alongside our lead technician, diagnosing and repairing robotic mowers and battery-powered outdoor power equipment.

No robotics experience is required. Around 90% of your training happens in-house, delivered by technicians who have been doing this for years. What we can't teach is attitude, so that's what we're actually screening for.

Our service division runs on dedicated management software, and we want you to become the one who owns it — making sure every job, part and customer record goes through it properly. That responsibility is yours to grow into.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnosing faults using manufacturer diagnostic software

• Diagnosing faults without software — multimeter, wiring diagrams, first principles

• Disassembly, repair and reassembly of robotic mowers and OPE

• Phone and email technical support for customers across Australia

• Recording all work through electronic job cards

• Managing spare parts stock

• Attending customer sites with our field installation and service team

• Assisting the sales team and looking after walk-in customers in the showroom

• Processing online orders, packing and dispatch

About you

• A self-starting personality and a genuine interest in how things work

• A responsible nature — willing to own a job from start to finish

• Attention to detail and good organisation

• A can-do, resourceful approach when the manual doesn't have the answer

• Very basic understanding of electrical circuits

• Basic computer competence

• A current Australian driver's licence

• The legal right to work in Australia on a permanent basis

• Previous technical, mechanical or electronics experience (helpful, but not essential)

• Basic handyman skills (helpful, but not essential)
