Hospitality & Events Manager

Location: Kensington, VIC

Salary: $80,001 - $100,000

Job Type: Permanent position | Full time position

• Plan and coordinate coffee and beverage service delivery for conferences, exhibitions, corporate functions and similar events.
• Liaise with clients, venue contacts and event organisers to confirm service requirements, event schedules, access arrangements, staffing needs and agreed delivery standards.
• Prepare event run sheets and coordinate equipment, signage, displays and service logistics, including safe bump-in and bump-out activity.
• Allocate, brief, train and supervise baristas and event-service staff; monitor service standards and address operational issues during events.
• Maintain high standards of customer service, food safety, workplace health and safety, and any applicable responsible-service-of-alcohol requirements.
• Monitor stock, consumables and equipment needed for scheduled events; report shortages, faults, incidents and service variations to the Director.
• Maintain accurate operational records, including event instructions, staffing allocations, equipment requirements, incident reports and post-event feedback.
• Assist the Director with practical event budgets, supplier coordination, service-quality improvements and customer issue resolution, where these responsibilities are genuinely allocated to the role.

Qualification & experience  

• At least one year of experience in hospitality management.
• A Diploma in hospitality, business or a related field.
• Experience with coffee-service equipment, corporate venues or mobile-event hospitality operations.
