MC Driver - Melbourne - Sydney

GTS Freight Management is seeking experienced Interstate MC Drivers to join our team at our Hoppers Crossing depot.

This full-time position operates regular interstate services between Melbourne and Sydney. The role includes sleeping in the truck’s sleeper cab and loading and unloading freight.

Key responsibilities

• Operate interstate services between Melbourne and Sydney
• Safely load and unload freight
• Complete vehicle inspections and transport documentation
• Comply with fatigue-management, road-safety and company requirements
• Handle freight safely and professionally
• Maintain clear communication with operations staff
• Represent GTS Freight professionally when dealing with customers

About you

To be successful, you will ideally have:

• A current MC driver’s licence
• Interstate linehaul driving experience
• A strong understanding of fatigue-management and chain-of-responsibility requirements
• A safe and responsible driving record
• The physical ability to undertake loading and unloading duties
• Good communication and time-management skills
• A reliable, professional and safety-focused approach
• The ability to spend nights away from home
• BFM certificate

• Based at our Hoppers Crossing depot
• Regular Melbourne–Sydney interstate work
• Monday-to-Friday roster
• Sleeping in the truck’s sleeper cab while away
