YEM Technology is looking for experienced Electricians to join our team at the Sino Iron Project on an ongoing 2:1 FIFO roster ex Perth.

About the Role
This is a permanent and casual opportunity based at Cape Preston, WA, working a 2:1 roster (two week day shifts OR one week day shifts, one week night shifts). Shifts are 12 hours including a 30 minute paid lunch break.

What You Will Be Doing

• Fault-finding and breakdown maintenance on fixed plant electrical systems
• Preventative maintenance and planned works across the site
• Installation, testing and commissioning of electrical equipment
• Compliance with WA electrical regulations and site safety requirements
• Supporting shutdown activities as required

What We Are Looking For
Essential:

• WA A-Grade Electrical Licence
• CPR and First Aid current within 12 months
• Working at Heights (WAH), valid within the last 5 years
• HRWL: Elevated Work Platform (EWP)
• Construction White Card
• Valid Australian C Class driver's licence
• Minimum 6 months post-trade experience in mining or heavy industrial environments
• Full Australian Working Rights
• Clean-shaven. Mask fit is mandatory and non-negotiable on site

Desirable:

• Confined Space Entry (CSE), valid within the last 5 years
• Certificate III Instrumentation
• HV Switching

Pay RatesELECTRICIAN:

• FULL TIME: $60.46 ph
• CASUAL: $75.57 ph
• NIGHT SHIFT ALLOWANCE: $9.07 ph

INSTRUMENTATION ELECTRICIAN:

• FULL TIME: $61.85 ph
• CASUAL: $77.31 ph
• NIGHT SHIFT ALLOWANCE: $9.28 ph

ELECTRICIAN - POWER STATION:

• FULL TIME: $61.66 ph
• CASUAL: $77.07 ph

HV ELECTRICIAN - POWER STATION:

• FULL TIME: $64.35 ph
• CASUAL: $80.43 ph
