About the role
Reporting to the Area Manager NDIS LAC Service, you will provide day-to-day leadership, supervision and support to Local Area Coordinators delivering services under the National Disability Insurance Scheme. You will play a key role in ensuring high-quality service delivery, supporting staff performance, maintaining compliance with NDIA contractual requirements and fostering positive outcomes for people with disability, their families and carers.
Key responsibilities
Leading, mentoring and developing a team of Local Area Coordinators
Supporting operational performance, compliance and quality outcomes across the LAC service
Building strong relationships with community organisations, stakeholders and service providers
Assisting with workforce planning, staff development, reporting and continuous improvement activities
Supporting complex customer interactions and person-centred service delivery
About you
Experience leading or supervising a team within community services, disability services or human services
Understanding of the NDIS, disability sector and person-centred practice
Strong leadership, coaching and stakeholder engagement skills
Highly developed analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
Intermediate to advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office and database systems
Current Working with Children Check (Employee)
NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
Ability to complete NDIA Pre-Engagement Processes, including relevant background checks

Our services include general practice, nursing, allied health, dental, counselling and psychology, alcohol and drug treatment, social connection programs, carer support services, and National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) services. In New South Wales, South Eastern Sydney is currently the only region where we deliver NDIS services in partnership with the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA).
