As a key member of the ATSICHS Brisbane team, Our ATSICHS General Practitioner is to provide high-quality, culturally safe, comprehensive primary health care services to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander individuals and families, with a focus on prevention, early intervention, and chronic disease management. The role supports the holistic health and wellbeing of the community in alignment with Aboriginal ways of knowing, being, and doing.

COVID-19 Requirement
Required
MBBS or equivalent medical degree.
Current registration with AHPRA as a Specialist Medical Practitioner.
Fellowship of RACGP or ACRRM.
Experience working in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health or with underserved populations.
Demonstrated commitment to culturally safe and trauma-informed care.
Understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures and health issues.
Excellent clinical diagnostic and decision-making skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
National Police Certificate.
Driver’s Licence.
Evidence of Work Rights.
Medicare provider Number.
Professional Indemnity Insurance.
