About the role
The Social Work Advanced – Domestic and Family Violence (D&FV) Specialist provides expert clinical leadership and specialist practice across Redcliffe Hospital and Community and Oral Health services. The role plays a key part in strengthening Metro North Health's response to domestic and family violence and sexual violence through the delivery of specialist consultation, workforce education, service development and reform initiatives.
The successful candidate will lead the development, implementation and evaluation of contemporary domestic and family violence education and training programs, support complex clinical decision-making across multidisciplinary teams, and contribute to organisation-wide capability building. The role offers an opportunity to drive meaningful system-wide change, promote trauma-informed and culturally responsive practice, and improve outcomes for individuals, families and communities affected by domestic and family violence.
