QA Assistant - Food Manufacturing

A well-established food manufacturing company is looking for a QA Assistant to support its Quality team. You'll play a hands-on role in maintaining food safety, quality, and compliance standards within a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine laboratory and quality testing on raw materials and finished products
• Ensure products comply with food safety, quality, and regulatory standards
• Maintain accurate QA documentation, records, and reports
• Investigate quality issues and assist with corrective and preventive actions
• Liaise with Production, Sanitation, and other departments on quality matters
• Participate in internal and external audits
• Support training of operators on Hygiene, GMP, and HACCP
• Assist with new product development and quality procedure improvements
• Carry out additional QA-related duties as required

About You

• Essential: Strong hands-on microbiology and laboratory experience within a food manufacturing or quality environment
• Practical experience performing food quality and compliance testing
• Good understanding of HACCP, GMP, and food safety standards
• Strong attention to detail with accurate documentation and reporting skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with Production and Quality teams
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
