Teacher - Mathematics

This is a permanent full-time position commencing Term 1, 2027

Shenton College is seeking to appoint a Mathematics Teacher for the commencement of the 2027 school year.

The Role

• Expert, passionate teachers of Mathematics, with a dedicated commitment to excellence in teaching and learning.
• Able to display the professional knowledge, understanding and experience to deliver an engaging and relevant secondary Mathematics curriculum from the early and middle adolescent phases of learning through to senior secondary courses.
• Familiar with the Teaching For Impact framework and ideally have an understanding of what effective teachers believe, know and do to enable students to succeed.

• Building strong collaborative relationships with staff.

• hold an eligible teacher qualification and registration.
• be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or have a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of the appointment. More information about employment eligibility can be found on our website.
• apply for a WA Working with Children Check before you start; and
• consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education’s Screening Unit before you start.
