Company DescriptionCleveland Compressed Air Services is a family-run Western Australian business that has been operating since 1994.With established teams in Perth and Kalgoorlie, Cleveland provides compressed air sales, hire, service and engineered solutions to customers across a broad range of industries, including mining, hospitals and healthcare facilities, manufacturing, production facilities and industrial operations throughout WA.Our focus is simple: provide reliable equipment, strong technical support and responsive service that helps keep our customers operating.Our business is built around our SCAITS values:ServiceCommitmentAccountabilityIntegrityTechnologySocial ResponsibilityThese values guide how we work with our customers, suppliers and each other.Role DescriptionWe are looking for a Field Service Technician to join our Perth service team.This is a full-time, field-based role servicing customers across the Perth metropolitan area and, when required, regional Western Australia.You will work across a wide variety of compressed air equipment and customer sites, from production and manufacturing facilities through to mining operations and critical environments such as hospitals.The role will include:Servicing and maintaining compressed air systems and associated equipmentFault finding and diagnosing mechanical and electrical issuesCarrying out preventative and scheduled maintenanceRepairing equipment and responding to breakdownsInstallation and commissioning of new equipmentProviding customers with clear updates and technical adviceIdentifying additional repairs, parts or follow-up workCompleting accurate service reports and documentationWorking closely with our Service team to coordinate parts and ongoing worksMaintaining Cleveland's high standards of safety, workmanship and customer serviceQualifications & ExperienceWe are looking for someone with:A recognised mechanical, electrical, refrigeration or similar trade qualificationGood mechanical and technical aptitudeStrong fault-finding and problem-solving abilityExperience working with industrial equipment or machineryA willingness to learn and develop new technical skillsGood communication skills with customers and colleaguesAbility to work independently and manage your time effectivelyStrong safety awarenessCurrent Australian driver's licenceWillingness to travel within WA when requiredCompressed air experience would be an advantage, but it is not essential.We are happy to hear from technicians with backgrounds in areas such as industrial electrical, mechanical fitting, refrigeration, mining, manufacturing, automotive or similar technical trades.For the right person, we can provide the training and support needed to develop into a strong compressed air service technician.Why Cleveland?Cleveland has been part of the WA compressed air industry for more than 30 years and continues to grow while remaining a family-run business.We offer:A stable, long-term career with an established WA businessTraining and development in the compressed air industryExposure to a wide range of equipment and industriesA strong technical and service team around youVariety between workshop, field service and customer sitesOpportunities to develop your technical skills and progress within the businessWork across Perth, Kalgoorlie and regional WAA workplace built around Service, Commitment, Accountability, Integrity, Technology and Social Responsibility
