Help Deliver One of Australia's Largest Rail Infrastructure Projects

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join the Albury to Illabo (A2I) team and play a key role in the successful delivery of this nationally significant rail infrastructure project. Working within a high-performing project team, you will lead the planning, coordination and delivery of complex construction activities, ensuring outcomes are achieved safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.
Based on a 10 days on, 4 days off roster, this fixed-term opportunity through to December 2027 offers the chance to be part of a major construction program during a critical phase of delivery.
Reporting To The Senior Project Manager, You Will
Lead the safe, efficient and compliant delivery of major rail infrastructure works. Drive project performance across scope, schedule, budget, quality, environmental and safety objectives. Manage contractor performance and resolve construction, engineering and delivery challenges. Work closely with design, engineering and project teams to deliver practical, value-for-money outcomes. Engage with internal and external stakeholders including contractors, consultants, government agencies and local communities. Monitor project risks, progress and milestones, providing clear reporting and recommendations to project leadership. Support the successful delivery of complex rail works while maintaining operational readiness and stakeholder confidence.
About You
You will bring:
Degree qualifications in Civil Engineering or a related discipline. Proven project management experience delivering major infrastructure, construction or rail projects. Strong understanding of rail environments, possession planning and complex construction delivery. Experience managing contractors, project risks, budgets and stakeholder relationships. Exceptional communication, problem-solving and leadership capabilities. Commercial acumen and the ability to drive outcomes in a fast-paced project environment. Eligibility for membership with Engineers Australia. Current Class C Driver's Licence.
