About the role

Whitehouse Group Qld Pty Ltd is seeking experienced Civil Equipment Operators to join our team on the Calvale to Calliope Corridor Project, a major civil construction project located near Gladstone, Queensland.

This is a 9-month casual opportunity, and we also welcome applications from ABN holders interested in working on a subcontractor basis.

Available roles

Level 1 Operators / Labourers

• HR Truck Operator

• Water Cart Operator

• Roller Operator

• Loader Operator

• Civil Labourer

Level 2 Operators

• Excavator Operator (up to 50T)

• Grader Operator

• Dozer Operator

• Final trim and GPS machine control experience will be highly regarded but is not essential.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Current machinery tickets relevant to the equipment you operate

• Demonstrated experience operating civil construction equipment

• Current open driver's licence (HR licence preferred)

• Current White Card (Construction Induction) or the ability to obtain one

• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

• Ability to follow direction from supervisors and work effectively within a team

• Reliable work ethic, punctuality, and flexibility

• Previous experience in similar civil construction projects (desirable)
