Demand Planning Manager

Demand Planning Manager | BioPak | Bondi Junction, Sydney

We’re looking for a Demand Planning Manager to join BioPak, Australia’s leading supplier of certified compostable packaging, at our Bondi Junction head office.

This is a role for someone who loves the puzzle of forecasting: turning market signals, sales trends and seasonality into demand plans that keep our supply chain running efficiently and our customers served on time. You’ll own the demand planning process end to end, partner closely with Sales, Marketing and our Supply Chain Leadership Team, and lead a Demand Planning Analyst as you go.

What you’ll do

• Build and maintain demand plans and sales forecasts that drive DIFOT performance and cost efficiency
• Lead the Demand Planning side of S&OP, presenting forecast accuracy, bias and key metrics to the leadership team
• Manage product lifecycle transitions so new launches land on time and superseded lines run out cleanly
• Drive forward-looking improvement projects, including our NETSTOCK rollout and evolving S&OP practice
• Tertiary qualifications in business, supply chain, engineering, or a related field (a Master’s or equivalent is a plus).
• Coach and develop a Demand Planning Analyst, setting clear KPIs and role expectations

What you’ll bring

• 5+ years in demand planning and S&OP, ideally within an international corporate environment
• Proficiency with demand planning software (e.g., SAP APO, Oracle Demantra, Kinaxis, or similar).
• Tertiary qualifications in business, engineering or a related field (a Master’s or equivalent is a plus)
• A track record of measuring and improving forecast processes across multiple levels
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, and the ability to build a business case that gets backed
• Proven people leadership, with the communication skills to bring Sales, Marketing and Supply Chain along with you
