We have an exciting opportunity for a Broker Relationship Leader to join our Commercial Insurance team, reporting to the State Manager WA. In this role, you’ll build strategic partnerships with a panel of key broker partners, helping drive sustainable growth while delivering great outcomes for customers, brokers, and Zurich.

This is a highly visible relationship-led role where you’ll bring together underwriting, claims, risk engineering, and distribution expertise to strengthen broker engagement, unlock new opportunities, and contribute to Zurich’s ambition of becoming Australia's leading digital insurer.

You will also be responsible for the following:

• Managing strategic relationships with a designated panel of key broker partners
• Identifying growth opportunities and developing plans that support profitable business outcomes
• Collaborating with underwriting, claims and risk engineering teams to deliver broker strategies
• Strengthening Zurich’s market presence by promoting our value proposition across products and segments
• Leading multi-level stakeholder engagement across broker and Zurich organisations
• Negotiating major opportunities and driving continuous improvement across broker partnerships

You are a commercially minded relationship builder who enjoys working collaboratively to achieve shared goals. You bring energy, curiosity and accountability, and know how to influence stakeholders while maintaining a strong focus on customer and business outcomes.

In order to be successful, you will have the following:

• Experience building and managing long-term strategic business relationships
• Demonstrated success developing business plans and managing sales pipelines
• Strong relationship and strategic selling capability, ideally within insurance or financial services
• Sound understanding of the general insurance market and intermediary distribution channels
• Knowledge of underwriting and claims processes and how they support customer outcomes
• ANZIIF CIP qualification, or equivalent industry credentials, with relevant insurance industry experience
