·         EXECUTIVE DEPUTY PRINCIPAL

The leadership appointment will have an initial three (3) year tenure, with an ongoing teaching position associated with this appointment. The commencement date for the successful applicant is 25 January 2027.

The role of Executive Deputy Principal is to support the Principal in the overall leadership, management and strategic direction of the College. Working closely with the Principal, the Executive Deputy Principal contributes to the implementation of the College’s vision and strategic priorities and supports the continuous improvement of all aspects of College life.

The Executive Deputy Principal deputises for the Principal in their absence and plays a key role in ensuring the effective coordination, organisation and smooth operation of the College. Central to the role is the fostering of a positive and inclusive College culture, characterised by respectful relationships, collaboration and a shared commitment to the wellbeing and success of every member of the community.

Working collaboratively with the College Leadership Team, the Executive Deputy Principal supports learning success for every student through leadership excellence, effective teacher practice, staff collaboration and the provision of high quality, evidence based programs. The role actively promotes a culture of professional trust, positive relationships and collective responsibility for student learning, wellbeing and growth.

The incumbent ensures that the educational aims of the College are achieved and that all areas of College life reflect and uphold the values of our Catholic tradition and the College’s Franciscan heritage and charism.

The successful applicant will be supported by the leadership structures within the College, as well as an effective Professional Learning program.

 The successful applicant will have a demonstrated commitment to Catholic education and to the safety and wellbeing of children.

 The successful applicant will be required to have current VIT registration.
