Field Sales Manager – Victoria

At Casa Spirits, we make good booze without the B.S. No fancy backstories, no inflated prices, just quality spirits, RTDs and cocktail kegs that people actually want to drink. 

As we scale nationally, we need someone to lead our Victorian field sales team and make sure Casa keeps winning on the ground. 

The Role 

Reporting to the Victorian State Manager, you’ll own the end-to-end performance of our VIC field sales team, leading and coaching Business Development Managers across both on-premise and off-premise accounts. 

This is a hands-on role. You’re the critical link between state strategy and what actually happens in-trade. You’ll live in the field with your team, build their selling capability, and make sure the numbers get hit, volume, distribution, and customer outcomes. 

What you’ll be doing 

• Leading, coaching and developing a team of BDMs across hybrid on- and off-premise accounts 
• Getting out in the field, ride-alongs and in-market coaching to sharpen selling, call execution and customer relationships 
• Owning team performance end to end: clear expectations, quick course-correction, and tackling underperformance early and directly 
• Running structured 1:1s, pipeline reviews and performance conversations that hold the team accountable to KPIs and behaviours 
• Delivering the Victorian state sales plan across volume, distribution and revenue for both channels 
• Partnering with the State Manager to turn strategy into territory- and account-level execution 
• Chasing new business across independents and group accounts, and supporting the team on trading terms, promos and range 
• Building strong relationships with key customers, distributors and channel partners, and keeping brand standards sharp in-trade 
• Tracking and reporting team and individual KPIs, reading the sales data, and managing team budget, travel and resourcing 
• Recruiting, onboarding and inducting new BDMs as the team grows 

About you 

• 3–5+ years in a field sales role, ideally in liquor, FMCG or a related fast-moving sector 
• Proven experience coaching and managing a team of field-based reps 
• Experience across both on-premise and off-premise channels highly regarded 
• A track record of hitting sales and distribution targets in a competitive market 
• Strong people leader, you build capability and hold a team accountable while keeping the team culture tight
• Commercially astute, with sound judgement in negotiation and customer management 
• Confident with CRM and sales reporting tools to track performance and make calls 
• Self-motivated, resilient and comfortable running your own patch with a lot of autonomy 
• You’ll also need a current Australian driver’s licence, the willingness to travel across Victoria (including the occasional overnight), and an RSA (or the willingness to get one).
