About the Role
Canterbury Hospital is committed to providing high quality healthcare services to our local community, focused on patient and family-centred care.
The Senior Community Mental Health Professional is responsible for providing advanced evidence-based, strengths focused, recovery orientated assessment and treatment within a multi-disciplinary team and coordinating consumers’ recovery plans. The senior role is also responsible for complex clinical decision making, supervision and consultancy to colleagues, Community Managed Organisations, GPs and our community.
The role will include clinical lead in orientation, induction and mentorship of new clinical staff, and will lead quality improvement activities, clinical supervision and participation in clinical leadership responsibilities as required.
