About this Position  

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Afternoon Shift Supervisor to lead our warehouse operations in Warrnambool. Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will be responsible for supervising warehouse team members, ensuring operational efficiency, maintaining safety standards, and delivering outstanding service to both internal and external customers.

This is a hands-on leadership role that requires strong people management skills, operational knowledge, and a commitment to fostering a safe and productive team environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and support warehouse team members throughout the afternoon shift.
• Coordinate daily warehouse activities to ensure operational targets are achieved.
• Monitor productivity, accuracy, and performance across all warehouse functions.
• Ensure compliance with OH&S, HACCP, and company safety standards.
• Oversee stock management, inventory accuracy, and stock rotation practices.
• Provide coaching, training, and development to team members.
• Work collaboratively with transport, sales, and administration teams to ensure customer expectations are met.
• Lead by example and promote a positive, engaged workplace culture.

What We’re Looking For

To thrive in this role, you will bring:

• Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or distribution leadership role.
• Demonstrated people leadership and team management skills.
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations and inventory management.
• Sound knowledge of OH&S and HACCP requirements.
• Current forklift licence preferred.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
