About the role
Our client is a growing construction company based in Brookvale, Sydney, that specialises in commercial strip-outs and detailed demolitions. Due to a recent phase of rapid growth, our client is looking for a Leading Hand to lead their on-site construction team. They are looking for experienced candidates who can contribute to their high standard of work and continue to build their company's reputation for excellent, effective and timely demolition services.
The primary purpose of the Leading Hand position is to supervise 5-10 labourers and coordinate the different construction sites in a methodical manner whilst being hands-on to set the pace on site. The Labouring work is mainly interior strip-outs and detailed demolition.
