Admin Officer - Aged Care - Travel Contract

Medacs Healthcare has a rare opportunity for an experienced Administration Officer to travel to rural Northern Territory for a fixed-term contract within an aged care facility.

We are looking for a confident and adaptable administrator with experience using Kronos or a similar rostering, payroll or workforce management system. You must be comfortable working within an aged care environment and committing to a temporary contract rather than a permanent position.

• Provide day-to-day administrative support within a rural aged care facility.
• Use Kronos or a similar workforce management system to support rostering, timesheets, attendance and payroll-related processes.
• Review staff hours, identify discrepancies and assist with accurate timesheet processing.
• Maintain employee records, rosters and other workforce documentation.
• Assist facility management with roster changes, leave records and shift coverage.
• Complete accurate data entry, filing, reporting and general office coordination.
• Manage phone calls, emails and enquiries professionally and efficiently.
• Maintain accurate and confidential resident, employee and organisational information.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, employees and management.
• Adapt quickly to the systems and processes of a new workplace.

• Competitive agency rate of $40-$45 per hour, depending on experience.
• Superannuation paid in addition to the hourly rate.
• Travel and accommodation provided or reimbursed, T&Cs apply.

• Demonstrated experience using Kronos or a similar rostering, payroll, timekeeping or workforce management system.
• Previous experience in administration, rostering or office support.
• Strong computer skills, including confidence using Microsoft Office and learning new systems.
• Ability to review rosters, timesheets and employee records accurately.
• Comfortable working within an aged care facility.
• Willing and able to commit to a temporary locum contract.
• Strong organisational, communication and time-management skills.
• High attention to detail and accurate data-entry skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a busy environment.
• Ability to maintain privacy and handle sensitive information.
• Adaptable and comfortable living and working in a rural location.
• Relevant police and worker screening clearances, or willingness to obtain.
• Able to mobilise for a contract assignment.

Previous experience within aged care, healthcare, community services or another regulated environment will be highly regarded.
