HV Electrician - Product Support Advisor

Komatsu has the opportunity for a Product Support Advisor to assist in our Rio Tinto contract.

You’ll be managing the fleet health of all Komatsu equipment by providing on-the-job technical assistance for the maintenance personnel in fault finding including major components change outs, maintenance practices & operating practices.

Your job is to assist personnel to resolve parts sourcing issues and resolve technical information sourcing issues.

Key responsibilities:

Understanding the daily downtime of machine fleet at siteInvolvement in repair process on local dealer machinery Assistance in administration of warrantyUnderstanding and forecasting the scheduled downtimeWeekly site updateFeedback on service personnelOptimisation of machinesMachine systems monitoring

Roster: 8:6 FIFO ex Perth – Day shift only

Role Located: Pilbara

Must be living in Perth to be considered.

Hold a Trade or Engineering Qualification or backgroundHave sound knowledge and experience of Komatsu LoadersHave worked on Mine Site/s in the WA Mining IndustrySelf-motivated with good initiative as well as strong team player attitude with drive and professionalism to excel Always have a high standard of Customer service whilst always promoting Komatsu Products and ServicesDemonstrated problem solving skillsAbility to demonstrate a strong commitment to O.H.S alwaysAbility to work away remotely at the customer siteHave strong negotiation skills and attention to detail
