HESTA Super Fund
About the role
Be inspired everyday – let your work make a difference #Superwithimpact
More than one million Australians trust us with their money, and that trust shapes how we work every day. Our members sit at the centre of everything we do, guiding our decisions and the impact we strive to make.
We’re looking for people who are purpose-driven and accountable, who value inclusion and collaboration, and who are proactive in managing risk to protect our members’ long-term outcomes. In return, you’ll be part of an organisation where your work contributes to strong returns, real-world impact, and a culture that reflects the communities our members serve.
The opportunity – ‘Do what you love, and you’ll never work a day in your life’ #careerswithimpact
This 12-month parental leave contract offers a rare opportunity to work at the centre of HESTA’s strategy function. Reporting to the General Manager, working within our high-calibre enterprise Strategy team, you will be right at the heart of a pivotal and exciting time for the Fund. You will drive and coordinate strategy from across the business, drive the Fund’s strategy narrative, and support the development of robust, evidenced-based strategic and business plans. You will conduct research and analysis to inform strategic options, facilitate workshops with senior stakeholders to test thinking and build alignment, and help ensure our strategic planning meets regulatory obligations. The breadth of experience you'll gain will be a genuine differentiator in your career.
You are a confident, commercially minded strategy professional with a track record of delivering on high-profile projects with real autonomy – whether that experience comes from strategy consulting, superannuation or broader financial services. You know how to navigate complex organisations, bring stakeholders together around a clear narrative, and translate complex analysis into materials that resonate with senior leaders. Strategy experience is essential. You will also bring experience working with budgets, business casing and business plan development as part of a strategy role, along with exceptional written communication and presentation skills.
This role is preferably Melbourne based, though we will consider other locations for the right person.
