Aluminium Fabrication company is seeking an experienced and motivated Estimator to join our growing team.

About the Role

As our Estimator, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and profitability of our projects by preparing detailed cost estimates and tender submissions. This is a full-time position based in our office in Buddina, QLD 4575.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurate Estimating: Develop precise cost estimates for glass and metal projects, considering labour, materials, and equipment.

• Tender Preparation: Craft compelling tender documents, including specifications, drawings, and pricing schedules.

• Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and implement strategies to mitigate them.

• Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, overseas subcontractors, engineers to ensure project success.

About You

• Proven experience as an Estimator in the construction industry, with a focus on metal fabrication.

• Strong understanding of construction principles, materials, and labour costs

• Proficiency in CAD software and Microsoft Office Suite

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills   

• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines

• Strong work ethic and a positive attitude
