The Opportunity
This is an excellent opportunity to join an established Public Practice firm in Perth as an Assistant Manager within their Business Services team.

Working closely with Managers and Partners, you'll take ownership of a diverse client portfolio while continuing to develop your leadership, review and advisory experience.

Responsibilities will include:

• Preparing and reviewing financial statements and income tax returns.
• Managing relationships with a portfolio of SME and private clients.
• Assisting with tax planning, structuring and advisory work.
• Reviewing work completed by junior and intermediate accountants.
• Mentoring and supporting the development of junior team members.
• Managing workflow, deadlines and WIP across your clients.
• Working directly with senior staff and Partners on more complex matters.

About You

• 4+ years’ Australian Public Practice experience.
• CA or CPA qualified, or nearing completion.
• Strong Business Services and Tax experience.
• Confident dealing directly with clients.
• Some experience reviewing or mentoring junior staff would be advantageous.

You don't necessarily need to already be an Assistant Manager. This role would also suit a strong Senior Accountant who is ready to step up, take on more responsibility and continue progressing toward Manager.
