Nursery Hand

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Nursery Hand to join our busy production nursery in Jamberoo. This is a full-time position suited to someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in their work, and has a genuine interest in plants and the environment.

About the Role
As a Nursery Hand, you will be involved in the day-to-day operations of a production nursery, assisting with plant care, propagation, and general maintenance to ensure high-quality stock is produced.

Key Responsibilities

• Seedling tubestock production, potting, and spacing of nursery stock

• Watering, fertilising, and general plant care and stock maintenance 

• Monitoring plant health and reporting issues

• Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of work areas

• Picking orders & detailing stock for dispatch

Essential Criteria

• Strong attention to detail, enjoys repetitive work

• Excellent health and fitness level (role involves manual outdoor work)

• Genuine interest in horticulture and the environment

• Ability to work effectively within a team

• Good communication skills

• MR truck licence desirable not essential

This position is fulltime - 38hrs week

Monday - Thursday 7.30am - 4.00pm

Friday - 7.30am - 1.30pm
