Truck Tyre Fitter / Fleet Service Technician

About the role

Tyrepower Labrador is growing, and we're looking for another person to join our Truck & Fleet Service team. Depending on your experience, you'll work across truck and commercial tyre fitting, fleet servicing, roadside and on-site breakdown work, and passenger, 4WD and light commercial tyre fitting. While previous truck tyre fitting experience is highly regarded, we're opening this opportunity to a wider range of applicants. If you're mechanically minded, reliable, physically capable, comfortable working around trucks and heavy vehicles and willing to learn, we encourage you to apply.

Key responsibilities

• Truck and commercial tyre fitting

• Fleet tyre inspections and servicing

• Roadside and on-site breakdown work

• Tyre repairs

• Wheel changes and rotations

• Checking tyre pressures and condition

• Identifying irregular tyre wear

• Passenger, 4WD and light commercial tyre fitting

• Maintaining service equipment and vehicles

• Providing professional service to fleet customers

About you

• Strong work ethic and reliable attitude

• Good mechanical aptitude

• Willingness to learn

• Ability to work as part of a team

• Ability to work independently once trained

• Commitment to workplace safety

• Good communication skills

• Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position

• Current driver's licence

• An MR or HR licence is highly regarded but not essential

• $36–$42 per hour + overtime, depending on experience
