Dewatering Technician

NRW will be completing the Open Cut Mining of Grant’s Pit at the Finniss Project for our client Core Lithium.
Scope of works includes establishment of site facilities, systems and infrastructure (haul road construction & other general construction works), load and haulage of ore and waste and ancillary services.

We are looking for dedicated and enthusiastic people to come and join our team.

Experience required in:

• All aspects of dewatering, pump set up, pump moving, pipe welding, good understanding of pump flow rates and best practise
• Reading and executing plans
• Preparing and installation of hoses, pumps and equipment
• Trenching using 36T Komatsu excavator
• Carrying out inspections, repairs and maintenance to safely and efficiently support the operations and team.
• Monitoring systems, read and record equipment data
• Adjusting flow rates and basic water testing

What we look for in our people:

• Experience working on either mining or civil construction dewatering projects
• Relevant experience in previous role/s outlined on your resume
• Australian working rights
• Current Australian Drivers Licence
• The ability to actively demonstrate behaviours in alignment to NRW’s company values and safety standards
• A “can do” flexible attitude and strong team player mentality
