Administrative Assistants (Administration & Office Support)
Part-Time
Anowah Community Living is a not-for-profit disability service provider supporting people with disability to live meaningful, inclusive, and self-directed lives. We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Roster Coordinator to join our team on a part-time basis and play a critical role in ensuring our services are staffed safely, efficiently, and in line with participant needs.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys problem-solving, working with people, and making a real impact behind the scenes.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating and maintaining staff rosters across our disability services. You will work closely with Participants, Team Leaders, Support Workers, and other stakeholders to ensure shifts are covered, participant supports and preferences are delivered, and staffing arrangements remain compliant and cost effective.
Create, maintain and adjust staff rosters using rostering software
Fill vacant shifts and respond to unplanned absences
Coordinate staff availability, leave requests and shift changes
Communicate roster changes promptly and professionally
Monitor roster efficiency, overtime and workforce utilisation
Ensure rosters align with SCHADS Award requirements and NDIS service delivery needs
Support payroll and timesheet administration processes
Prepare regular roster and staffing reports for management
Contribute to continuous improvement of workforce planning and rostering practices
Participate in a rotating on call roster for after hours support
You are a calm and organised professional who can manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Experience in rostering, scheduling, workforce coordination or administration
Strong organisational and time management skills
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
High attention to detail and accuracy
Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Experience in disability, aged care, community services or health sectors
Knowledge of the SCHADS Award and NDIS environment
Experience with payroll or rostering systems such as Employment Hero, PayCat or similar
Relevant qualifications in administration, human resources or community services highly desirable.
