Spa Supervisor

As Spa Supervisor, you will be a key support to management and an important point of contact for both the reception and spa teams.

A significant part of the role will involve working directly on reception, including managing bookings, welcoming guests, handling enquiries and payments, and ensuring every guest receives a warm, professional and personalised experience.

You will also assist with team coordination, staff training, administration and the overall presentation and operation of the spa.

The successful candidate will be confident taking initiative, comfortable working independently and willing to step in wherever needed to support the team and the smooth running of the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist management with the day-to-day operation of the spa
• Work on reception and provide exceptional customer service to guests
• Welcome guests and create a warm, professional and welcoming first impression
• Manage bookings, appointments, enquiries, payments and general reception duties
• Support and oversee the reception team during daily operations
• Assist with reception administration and daily operational requirements
• Train, mentor and support new reception team members
• Help ensure reception procedures, systems and service standards are consistently followed
• Assist with staff coordination, team communication and general team support
• Act as a key point of contact between reception, therapists and management
• Help monitor the presentation, cleanliness and overall standards of the spa
• Handle guest enquiries, feedback and concerns professionally and assist with resolving issues
• Support management with implementing procedures and improving daily operations
• Help ensure the team consistently delivers a welcoming, professional and high-quality guest experience
• Lead by example and maintain a positive, professional and supportive environment
• Assist with opening and closing procedures and other operational requirements as needed
• Take on additional responsibilities as required to support management and the smooth running of the business

About You

• Experienced in a spa, beauty, wellness, hospitality or customer service environment
• Experienced or confident in a reception/customer-facing role
• Confident and professional when dealing with guests and staff
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail

• Comfortable training and mentoring new staff
• Confident with reception, bookings, payments and administrative duties
• Reliable, proactive and able to use initiative

• A strong communicator who works well with both management and team members
• Flexible and willing to assist across different areas of the business

Pay: $30.00 – $35.00 per hour
