Teacher English

Braemar College is an independent, co-educational, ecumenical school for students in Years 5 to 12. The College has two campuses, both of which are located near Woodend, less than an hour from Melbourne's CBD.

The successful candidate will experience working in one of the most unique educational settings and teach committed and passionate students. The position is a part-time fixed-term position for Term 2, 2027 (approx. teaching load of .50). You would commence on 12 April 2027 – 18 June 2027. The position exists due to the teacher taking long service leave.

About You:

• Demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively with staff, delivering English programs across the school.
• Show a willingness and capacity to contribute to students' well-being by providing support and challenges, and giving them confidence to aspire and thrive.
• Display innovation in curriculum and collaborative learning approaches
• Have a tertiary teaching qualification that enables you to teach English to VCE.
• Display an individual learning disposition that strives for continual improvement.
• Be a current VIT registered teacher.
