Parts Representative - Welshpool

AMCAP is currently seeking a motivated and customer-focused Parts Representative to join our team in Welshpool.

At AMCAP, we take pride in our 50+ years of genuine parts distribution experience. As WA's distributor for leading brands including Ford, Holden and Subaru, as well as several third-party logistics customers, we stock more than 30,000 genuine parts and support customers across Western Australia.

Reporting to the Parts Manager, you will play a key role in driving parts sales growth by building strong customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and delivering exceptional service to both existing and prospective customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and grow sales within an existing customer portfolio while actively identifying and acquiring new customers.
• Build strong relationships with workshops, dealerships, trade customers, fleet operators, and other industry stakeholders.
• Promote AMCAP's genuine parts offering and identify opportunities to increase customer spend and market share.
• Respond to customer enquiries via phone, email, and face-to-face interactions in a professional and timely manner.
• Prepare quotations, process orders, and provide parts solutions that meet customer requirements.
• Coordinate customer orders and source required parts to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Monitor customer purchasing trends and proactively engage customers to generate additional sales opportunities.
• Work closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure efficient supply and delivery of parts.
• Assist with stock management, inventory control, and backorder monitoring.
• Maintain accurate customer records and sales activity within company systems.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance customer experience and business performance.

About You
We are looking for someone who combines automotive parts knowledge with a genuine passion for customer engagement and business development. You enjoy building relationships, identifying opportunities, and delivering solutions that create value for customers.

Ideally, You Will Possess

• A current WA Driver's Licence.
• Experience within automotive parts, dealership parts, aftermarket parts, or a related industry (preferred but not essential).
• A strong aptitude for customer acquisition, sales growth, and business development.
• Proven ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
• Strong commercial awareness with the ability to identify sales opportunities.
• High levels of computer literacy and attention to detail.
• The ability to prioritise effectively and perform well in a fast-paced environment.
• A self-motivated and results-driven approach to achieving sales and customer service objectives.
