Job Description

As the Senior Capability - Change Partner, you will design, deliver, and support leaders to embed 'future fit' capabilities across systems, processes, and people capabilities.

You will implement a robust change framework to ensure our front-line teams are fully ready to adopt new retail models and effectively land all transformation programs in-store.  

Sound good? Read on.  Here's a snapshot of the responsibilities:

• Develop a deep understanding of transformation programs, aligning them to be delivered effectively by store teams (including Customer Value propositions, service/store cultures, layout changes, formats, ranges, value, and customer loyalty).
• Ensure all programs are designed collaboratively using cross-functional inputs and operationally executed for a positive employee experience.
• Lead the development, build, and 3-year execution plan for future-fit capabilities across all layers of the customer-facing Retail Divisions.
• Partner with leadership teams to build this framework while considering strategic plans, our evolving workforce, and technology impacts such as AI and new systems.
• Evolve Job Readiness learning programs across all retail layers to support strategic initiatives, current employees, onboarding, and future development.
• Focus on creating new ways of working and simplifying toolkits, reporting, and tools to maximize store management, leadership, and team member effectiveness.
• Develop a comprehensive communication plan in partnership with the Comms team to take all employees on the journey of our retail evolution.
• Provide guidance and strategic storytelling inputs for Leadership teams to translate high-level objectives into easily understood communications for in-store teams.
• Lead the implementation of change initiatives by providing practical support to teams and identifying efficiency gains for effective in-store delivery.
• Proactively identify and assess operational risks within Strategic Delivery programs, building detailed mitigation plans, managing deployment pipelines with operations capacity teams, and coordinating with merchandise for category resets.  
• Manage learning program costs and the overarching budget while tracking and reporting on program ROI.  

Qualifications

Now let’s talk about you: 

• You bring 10+ years in Human Resources with focused experience in change management, business partnering, and/or Organisation Development.
• A proven track record leading the design and delivery of future-fit capability frameworks and learning programs across customer-facing teams in large companies, preferably within Retail, FMCG, or a fast-paced consumer-led industry.  
• You offer a strong practical understanding of how program delivery impacts productivity, performance, and employee-related metrics that motivate, engage, and retain talent.
• You have a proven ability to utilize change management tools and cross-functional collaboration to execute programs that generate measurable commercial value.  
• You hold a demonstrated drive for achieving commercial milestones, translating strategy into action, and hitting sales, margin, EBIT, and CODB targets on the Retail Scorecard.
• Extensive experience working alongside executive stakeholders on complex written and verbal communications to successfully navigate transformative ways of working.
• An inclusive leader who can influence indirectly across multiple functions and leadership layers to drive results.
• You are highly resilient, self-aware, curious, and growth-oriented—allowing you to adapt your leadership style to foster team wellbeing, mitigate operational risks, and role model the Endeavour "Ways of Working".
• Advanced digital literacy, a customer-centric focus to improve processes based on insights, and data-driven decision-making skills to manage all programs within budget constraints.
