Electronic Security Technician

We are looking for experienced Electronic Security Technician's for various roles across Installation and/or Service on Defence and Government contracts across the state. The role will be based in Adelaide and will involve travel to sites across Adelaide, South Australia. You will contribute by being organised, committed to customer service, and wants to be part of a superb team culture and working on these exciting and on-going sites.

Snapshot of your day:

• Installation and/or Service of alarms, access control, CCTV, and associated systems.
• Complete and provide evidence of installation and/or service performed on equipment in an accurate and legible manner, using systems including handheld technology.
• Establishing and maintaining strong client relationships.
• Determining job priorities and meeting deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Maintaining industry knowledge and monitoring market developments, keeping up to date with the latest changes and advances in electronic security technology and relevant Australian Standards.
• Report works progress and performance by complete productivity and reports.
• Commitment to the highest standards of business code of conduct, aligned with expectations on ethical behaviour according to company values.
• Complying with company and client HSEQ policies, ethics, and procedures.

About you:

• Experienced Technician in the Electronic Security industry, with sound knowledge of alarms, access control, CCTV, and associated systems.
• Current or ability to obtain a South Australia Security Licence (installation/consultant).
• NV1 Australian Government Security Vetting Agency Clearance is highly desired or availability to obtain (you must be an Australian Citizen).
• Gallaher Type 1A Experience is highly desired.
• Certification with Gallagher, Integrity or Milestone systems desirable.
• Cabling licence is essential or ability to obtain.
• Unrestricted work rights and Current Drivers licence.
• Experience with Commercial, Government and Defence sites is advantageous.
• Ability to work autonomously and effectively in a team.
• Excellent prioritising skills and meeting deadlines.
• Superb attitude and willingness to deliver for the customer and team.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
