SOCIAL MEDIA & MARKETING COORDINATOR

We’re looking for a creative, energetic and organised Social Media & Marketing Coordinator to join North Coast Hotel Group in Grafton.

We want someone who can spot great content, build excitement around what’s happening at the venue and turn ideas into successful promotions and activations.

THE ROLE

You will be responsible for the venue’s social media and marketing everything from live entertainment / events to food, drinks, weekly promotions and community activities.

This is a hands-on role. We’re looking for someone who can create the content, not just schedule it.

We value creativity and initiative over formal marketing experience.

Ideally, we’re looking for someone who:

• Loves social media and content creation

• Understands Facebook, Instagram and Reels

• Is confident filming and editing on their phone

• Knows Canva and CapCut or similar

• Has a good eye for photos and video

• Can write engaging content

• Is organised, proactive and full of ideas

• Is comfortable creating content in a busy hospitality environment

• Is available for some night and weekend event coverage

Most importantly, we need someone who identifies opportunities for content and promotion and is able to operate independently.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

SOCIAL MEDIA & CONTENT

•            Create content for Facebook and Instagram

•            Film and edit Reels and short-form video

•            Capture relevant in-venue collateral

•            Write captions and promotional copy

•            Create graphics in Canva and assist with graphic design

•            Undertake all SM planning and schedules

•            Capture live events content, including some nights and weekends

MARKETING & PROMOTIONS

•            Target market upcoming events and entertainment

•            Promote weekly food, drink and venue offers

•            Coordinate paid social advertising

•            Update website and event content

•            Assist with digital marketing

•            Develop promotional activations

•            Analyse SM activity data and utilise to improve campaigns ongoing

EVENTS & ACTIVATIONS

Develop and promote brand specific concepts for live music, community events, sporting events, food and drink promotions, seasonal campaigns and local partnerships.
