Job Summary:

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Panel beater to join their team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for repairing and restoring damaged vehicle panels to their original condition.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assessing and identifying the extent of vehicle damage

- Repairing and replacing damaged panels using appropriate tools and techniques

- Filling and sanding body panels to ensure a smooth finish

- Removing dents and scratches from panels

- Welding and shaping metal panels as needed

- Preparing and applying paint to repaired panels

- Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and meets industry safety standards

- Communicating with customers to provide updates on repair progress and answer any questions

- Maintaining a clean and organized work area

- Following all company policies and procedures

Qualifications and Skills:

- Trade qualification in Panelbeating or equivalent experience

- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role

- Strong knowledge of automotive repair techniques and equipment

- Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work

- Strong problem-solving skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Excellent communication and customer service skills

- Valid driver's license
