Venue Manager

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Venue Manager to join the opening team of a brand-new hospitality and entertainment venue.

This is a great opportunity to get involved from the beginning, working alongside a fantastic and experienced General Manager to help launch the venue, build a strong team and establish a positive culture from day one.

We're looking for a confident, hands-on leader who enjoys being on the floor, developing their team and delivering an outstanding guest experience.

About the Role

As Venue Manager, you'll play a key role in the opening and ongoing operation of this busy, family-focused venue offering quality food, beverage and entertainment.

Working closely with the General Manager and wider senior leadership team, you'll help establish operational standards, develop the venue team and ensure the day-to-day operation runs smoothly.

You'll have the opportunity to put your stamp on a new venue while having the support of an experienced General Manager and an established hospitality group behind you.

Key Responsibilities

• Play a key role in the successful opening and launch of the new venue

• Work closely with the General Manager on day-to-day operations

• Lead the venue with a hands-on management style

• Build, develop and motivate a strong venue team

• Drive excellent customer service and high operational standards

• Manage rosters, labour costs, stock control and venue performance

• Build a positive, accountable and engaged team culture

• Ensure compliance with food safety, liquor licensing and workplace procedures

• Support the achievement of operational and financial goals

About You

• Previous experience as a Venue Manager or experienced Assistant Manager

• A strong people leader who enjoys developing and motivating teams

• Confident managing busy service periods and remaining calm under pressure

• Good understanding of labour management, stock control and venue profitability

• Strong communication and organisational skills

• A hands-on operator who leads from the front

• Available to work a rotating roster, including evenings and weekends

• Excited by the opportunity to help launch and shape a brand-new venue

What's On Offer

• $75,000–$85,000 + Super, depending on experience
